Each time I leave the studio,I am relaxed, informed, strong, and energized,ie.: a new woman very often feeling like a "wonder woman".
I like to say "Pilates" is my job. I have worked up to 3-4 classes per week through the years because I have the free time, because the studio offers variety from private classes to group classes, and because of the way I feel from it.
It's hard to describe because this feeling is from within deep in my muscles, deep in my core. The matte classes have built my core- develops shoulder strength, arm stength, ab strength. In the barre classes I utilize this strength to complete routine, not to mention cardio. Am I huffing and puffing? Yes! Am I strenghtening and toning my hips and legs? Yes! Am I exercising my mind ? Yes! The stability ball class challenges me in other ways maintaining balance and core strength.Lastly comes the strength training class ( the newest) which focuses on specific groups of muscles. That is some class! My body has never felt stronger.
What places Body Dynamics on top is the persoanal attention one receives in a very pleasant atmosphere. Peggy, Amy, and Lisa instruct, model, educate, and motivate during their classes respectively. That's what Ilove about it! If I'm not having proper form, I'm corrected. If I have a question about the technique or position, it is addressed. If there's an ache or stretching is needed, issues are addressed for the individuals and modifications are made with thought, knowledge, and care.
At Body Dynamics, one is instruced by a great team of three professionals ,with individual styles, all very knowledgeable about the body(bone, core and how all work together) and all deeply involved in the well being, health, and fitness of themselves and their patrons. You'll understand what you're doing and why you're doing it as well as the benefits from it.
Once you start, you'll never want to stop. Pilates may even end up being your job! Not a bad one, I'd say,and rewarding at that!
